Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Basetion. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Basetion’s website, application, and related products or services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up, accessing, or using Basetion, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

3. Use of Services

Basetion enables you to connect data sources, sync them with Notion, and expose Notion databases as clean APIs. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse the platform in ways that could harm Basetion, other users, or connected services.

Examples of prohibited uses include (but are not limited to):

- Attempting to breach or bypass security of Basetion or Notion APIs.
- Uploading or syncing unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.
- Using Basetion to build competing services that replicate its core features.

4. User Account

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep it updated. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content and data you connect or manage through Basetion (“User Data”). By using our Services, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and display your User Data solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
We do not claim ownership of your Notion data or any third-party data sources you connect.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services (including design, software, branding, and features) are owned by or licensed to Basetion. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

7. Payment and Subscription

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay applicable fees.

- All payments are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in our refund policy.
- We reserve the right to change pricing plans with prior notice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services if you:

- Violate these Terms.
- Misuse Basetion in a way that could harm the platform or other users.
- Engage in illegal activity using the Services.

You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing the use of our Services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basetion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

- Loss of data, business, or profits.
- Service interruptions or downtime.
- Issues caused by third-party integrations (e.g., Notion API, Stripe, Google Sheets, etc.).

Our liability in all cases is limited to the amount you paid to use the Services during the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
